So it was just announced (when I posted this) that the whole ordeal where the kid was in a flying saucer balloon and then wasn’t turned out to be a publicity stunt by the father, who was trying to get his own reality TV show (the family had been on Wife Swap before).

This highlights two big problems I’ve been seeing for a long time – the over the top fascination with reality shows (most of which are just SHIT) and bad parenting, which is the main target in this strip.

Let’s call it a bit of wishful thinking
