It’s the latest topic (2 weeks ago). But still, lately I’ve been compelled to force my opinion on everyone about how people don’t STAY HOME when they get sick (regardless of what they’re sick from). It’s the latest topic (2 weeks ago). But still, lately I’ve been compelled to force my opinion on everyone about how people don’t STAY HOME when they get sick (regardless of what they’re sick from).

It dawned on me a while ago that despite people getting their shots, and despite nation-wide panic, the swine flu still seems to be spreading rampantly. And the reason is obvious – people don’t take care of themselves, and they don’t stay home when they’re sick.

SO STAY THE FUCK HOME WHEN YOU’RE SICK! Thank you. This has been a message from the Center for Disease Control. Sorta.

So it was just announced (when I posted this) that the whole ordeal where the kid was in a flying saucer balloon and then wasn’t turned out to be a publicity stunt by the father, who was trying to get his own reality TV show (the family had been on Wife Swap before).

This highlights two big problems I’ve been seeing for a long time – the over the top fascination with reality shows (most of which are just SHIT) and bad parenting, which is the main target in this strip.

Let’s call it a bit of wishful thinking :)
