Sometimes life gives you the impression that everything will be okay, that everything will go your way. Your defenses get lowered, maybe you lose sight of a couple of things, other things get sloppy. And then life comes up behind you when you’re not looking and takes a metal bat to your knees.
Such was the case last week when my mother was admitted to the hospital with what they believed to be a stroke. Fortunately it wasn’t a stroke, and she was released a few days later after some exams. It’s things like that that force you to make sense of things, focus your attention and determine what needs to be done.
So I’m back in the driver’s seat here, trying to make up for lost time, trying to get antiSocially moving forward once again.
